About

Hi! I'm Allison.

In 2021 I left my New York City legal career to invest my time in myself, live out of a suitcase, go places, meet people, and do things that I find fulfilling.

As a way of keeping up with friends and family, and for the added deductions, this blog was created.

On this blog you will find content catered to my hobbies and passions. I plan to share general information, reflections, and other content I find interesting and fulfilling.

As a preview, below are photos and snippets of information relating to some of my passions.

Aerial Hoop/Lyra

I tried aerial for the first time in 2018 at Burning Man and was hooked. From there, I took classes at Aerial Arts NYC, but when the pandemic hit, the studio closed, and I moved out of the city. I have been able to maintain a practice by acquiring apparatuses of my own, and with this current sabbatical, I will be traveling with a mini hoop.

Climbing

Growing up in Southern Utah, rock climbing was something I was exposed to young and participated in sporadically. When I moved to NYC in 2017, I joined a gym that had a climbing wall and I fell in love with the sport. Since then, I have found a passion for the sport and the climber community. As I travel, I will make a point to seek out climbing opportunities and climbing gyms.

Yoga

I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and this year I will finally be taking the time to obtain my yoga teacher certificate where I aim to expand my yoga practice and philosophies.

Volunteer

I’ve found that through giving I gain and with my time I am planning to spend energy participating in opportunities that benefit life on earth. I’m not exactly sure what this will look like, if you have any ideas, please let me know.

Movement, Nutrition, Exploration, Creation

I find pleasure in movement, nutrition, exploration, creation, etc. As this journey unfolds I intend to participate in a variety of physical activities, eat delicious nutritious food throughout the globe and co-create with individuals throughout earth.

Thank you for your interest!
